Upon subscribing to a graphic design plan with Polished & Refined, you agree to these Terms & Conditions:

How We Work

• We work on one current project at a time (or two in the Elite Plan). If you have a more urgent project come up, you can move your current project to the backlog queue and submit a new one.

• Unlimited projects can be added to your backlog queue and you can request unlimited revisions on your current project until you are ready to approve it.

• All communication is done through your Trello board, a project management software you'll use to manage all your design work. We like to minimize meetings and emails to make sure you get your work done fast. You may invite team members to access and/or manage your Trello board.

• Most projects are ready for review within 72 hours. However, some projects may be more comprehensive and require more time to create. We will contact you if we think your project will take longer to complete.

• We do take occasional vacations 🏝️ and will let you know one month in advance if we will be unavailable for a certain amount of days so you can plan your projects accordingly. Even the most dedicated business owner needs an occasional getaway!

• Because your work is part of a subscription, there’s no need to ask for project-specific quotes. We’re happily cutting out that tedious part of working with a designer!

What We Can Do For You

• Flyers, pricing guides, brochures, business cards, signage, advertisements, menus, website banners (static), social media graphics (static), newsletters, posters, presentations, annual reports, welcome packets, tradeshow banners, image editing & retouching (with photographer’s written permission), letterhead, postcards, catalogs, infographics, training materials, HR documents, magazines, stickers & labels, copy editing & writing, Squarespace websites & email marketing (only in Pro & Elite Subscriptions), and so much more! If you’re not sure if your project qualifies, contact us for clarification.

What We Don’t Do

• We do not offer these types of design services: custom HMTL website development, motion graphics, video editing, 3D modeling, app development, Instagram reels & TikTok videos, social media management and posting, send items to print for you or gather printer quotes (although we are happy to refer you to our favorite online printers).

• Brand, product, lifestyle and headshot photography is not included in your subscription, but is available through our sister company Kristen Marie Weddings + Portraits.

• You are responsible for submitting current projects, sending revisions and approving projects in Trello. You control the pace of your workflow. We do not move projects around in your queue. The more efficiently you utilize Trello, the more work we can do for you!

Websites & Email Marketing

• Subscriptions do not include the purchase of Squarespace website templates. For most new website builds, we will suggest 1-3 Squarespace website templates that you may choose from. We can purchase the website for you and bill you for the reimbursement. Most templates have a one time fee of $200-$400 and choosing a template will greatly enhance the aesthetic of your website.

• Standard subscriptions do not include Squarespace websites or email marketing projects. Only Pro and Elite subscriptions include those items.

Billing, Refunds & Cancellations

• You can access and manage your billing account here.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time and request design work through the end of your current billing period. If a project is not approved before your current billing period is over, you will not receive any additional revisions or final files. After your billing period is over, you may resubscribe with a different level of subscription.

• We do our very best to make sure every client is completely satisfied with the projects they receive and the customer service provided! However, due to the nature of design work, there are no refunds or prorated fees for subscriptions cancelled by the client. You are responsible for knowing your monthly renewal date.

• Polished & Refined reserves the right to cancel any client’s subscription with written notice via email. In this case alone, client will receive a refund for the latest monthly billing cycle.
